Farm Birds

• Our approximately 30 Chickens take care of many pests that spend portions of their life walking or crawling on the ground (flies, ants, etc.) and provide us and our friends with eggs of many colors.
• Our 4 Muscovy and 2 other Ducks make sure that slugs and snails are not around to get into feed bins, etc. They also provide us with eggs from time to time, but mostly they hide them in places we can't find them.
• The Peafowl are beautiful to watch and provide a degree of guard duty (they squawk loudly when strange people or animals come into their domain).

Pictures of some of our fowl are shown below. We do have young (sexually immature) peafowl for sale at good prices.
